AVP Punarnavadi Kashayam is a very famous Ayurvedic medicine in liquid form. It is also known as?ÿ Punarnavashtaka kashaya, Punarnavashtak kwath. But there is a slight difference. Punarnavadi kashayam contains turmeric as an extra ingredient. But both have quite similar properties and therapeutic action.

AVP Punarnavadi Kashayam dose:-?ÿ

• The dose is 12 ƒ?? 24 ml, before food, at about 6 ƒ?? 7 am and 6 ƒ?? 7 pm or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor.

Adjuvants:
Virechana gritham, Loha bhasma, or powdered Katukarohini (Picrorrhiza kurroa).

Daru ƒ?? Cedrus deodara
Nisha ƒ?? Turmeric
Tikta ƒ?? Andrographis paniculata
Patola ƒ?? Luffa acutangula
Pathya ƒ?? Terminalia chebula
Pichumarda ƒ?? Neem
Musta ƒ?? Cyperus rotundus
Nagara ƒ?? Ginger

It is added with 8 parts of water, boiled and reduced to a quarter part, and filtered.
